It is time for physiotherapists to renew their 2023-2024 Independent Practice Certificate with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.  
 
The 2023 annual renewal process runs from February 1 to March 31. All PTs must complete annual renewal and pay the registration fee of $635 by March 31, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. to avoid additional late fees. PTs will be asked to answer a number of questions and update information that has changed. 

PTs, if you do not plan to practice physiotherapy or use the title physiotherapist in the coming year, you may choose to resign your registration.

It is also time for PTs to complete your annual online, self assessment for 2023-2024, called PISA. The 13-question, multiple-choice exercise covers expectations outlined in the Working with Physiotherapist Assistants Standard. It must be completed by March 31, 2023 as well.
