Learn How to Support Patients Experiencing Intimate Partner Violence

Health professionals play an important role in preventing intimate partner violence by recognizing the risk factors and knowing how to respond appropriately.

Join us Tuesday, September 22, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. for a webinar about supporting patients experiencing intimate partner violence. 

This webinar is open to all health care professionals who want to learn more about this important topic. 

The session will cover: 

• the warning signs and risk factors of intimate partner violence
• an overview of risk assessment in health care settings 
• guidance on reporting, including considerations from the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario 
• how health care providers, including physiotherapists, can take action to prevent intimate partner violence
