Case of the Month: The Importance of Mandatory Reporting
If you learn that a patient has been sexually abused by a regulated health professional, you must report it.
This law exists to protect patients and maintain trust in the health-care system.
In a new case of the month, we hear about a physiotherapist who knew what to do when a patient told them something troubling.
Read the Case of the Month and make sure you’re familiar with mandatory reporting requirements.
