Recruitment Call for Quality Assurance Program Assessors

(Part-time Independent Contract)

The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario regulates physiotherapists and exists to protect the public interest. The College’s Quality Assurance program is required under the Regulated Health Professions Act. The program is intended to protect the public by ensuring that physiotherapists maintain competence throughout their careers.

The Quality Assurance program is being redeveloped into a two-step process that will include a one-hour interview by telephone or video conferencing (for example, Facetime or Skype). This interview will identify physiotherapists who would benefit from an onsite practice review to further discuss their practice. View a diagram of the new program on the College website.

The College requires a minimum of 15 independent contractors to act as Assessors for the updated Quality Assurance program.
