Our 2025-2026 Annual Report is now available.
The report shares information from each of our program areas, provides an overview of the physiotherapy profession in Ontario, and details progress on strategic initiatives.
The period covered by the report marks the final year of the College’s 2022-2026 Strategic Plan. On April 1, 2026, we transitioned to a new plan that will guide our work through 2030.
Here are some highlights of what we’ve accomplished over the last four years:
- Created resources to help physiotherapists educated outside Canada successfully transition to practice in Ontario — including some in collaboration with our system partners.
- Modernized our standards and supported practice consistency across Canada by adapting national standards. This included helping physiotherapists understand 17 new and updated standards through webinars and new resources.
- Supported data-informed decision making by building infrastructure and dashboards to make data more accessible and create usable insights.
- Engaged with the profession through conferences, in-person and virtual town halls, webinars, workshops, and partner events.
- Conducted a registrant survey to better understand the needs of physiotherapists and implemented changes based on the results.
- Modernized our website and moved toward plain and compassionate language to make our information more accessible.
- Implemented an annual organization-wide EDI self-assessment and action planning framework.
- Improved diversity and representation among decision-makers and updated recruitment processes for committee members, assessors and coaches.
