Ontario Government Announces Additional COVID-19 Restrictions – Regulated Health Professions Not Affected

Share

On Friday, November 20, the Ontario Government announced a number of additional restrictions to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Read the government news release. No restrictions on physiotherapy practice have been announced to date.

Physiotherapists and other regulated health professionals may continue to operate in Toronto and Peel, consistent with current guidelines for regulated health professionals.

Please visit the College website to review guidance from the Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario and to access information on infection control measures. Whenever possible, the government encourages care to be provided virtually.

We encourage everyone to take all of the necessary steps to keep their patients and themselves safe.

Sincerely,

Darryn Mandel
President
