If you are going on leave you have two options:
1. If you do not plan to use your PT title during this time, you can resign your registration for the time you are planning to be off. This means you need to let the College know – through the PT Portal – of your intention. If you resign between April 1st and December 31st, you can apply for a fee credit. The fee credit amount is based on the days remaining in the registration year and is valid for one year. You will need to reapply to the College to re-register, this can take up to two weeks.
2. You have the option to remain registered. If you choose this option, you must update the PT Portal with your last date at work and update your contact details so the College can reach you during your absence to make you aware of mandatory activities, such as annual renewal, PISA or Jurisprudence that might take place during your leave but you are still required to complete.
