Discipline Hearings and Decisions

The College investigates concerns about the conduct and competence of physiotherapists in Ontario and takes action when needed.

Serious matters like allegations of professional misconduct or incompetence may be referred to the Ontario Physiotherapists Discipline Tribunal (OPDT) for a hearing. The tribunal is a neutral, independent, and administrative body.

As of January 1, 2026 the College’s discipline tribunal will be part of the Health Professions Discipline Tribunal on a trial basis.

For more information, please visit the Health Professions Discipline Tribunal website.

Upcoming Hearings

Hearings are held virtually and are open to the public. For dates and times or to register to watch a hearing, please visit the Health Professions Discipline Tribunal’s Upcoming Hearings page.

Media inquires can be sent to the College’s communications team at communications@collegept.org.
