The IT Project Specialist will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of IT projects for the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPTO). Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, they will work closely with other internal team members and external vendors on contracts and project management. The IT Project Specialist will work towards implementing new technology solutions; scheduling and coordinating upgrades to existing applications; and assisting in the design and implementation of process improvements. Additionally, they will be responsible for providing general IT support to the business.
This role will work cross-functionally with various internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that the statement of work is clear, CPTO’s interests are maintained and that the overall project objectives of the work are successful and achieved in a timely manner. The position demands a highly analytical individual who is able to work effectively and is successful at leading all phases of diverse technology projects. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, results-driven team player who will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the CPTO’s business unit to provide support for, and implementation of, technology solutions designed to improve delivery of services.
