Request for feedback – Proposed College By-laws Changes

Share

In keeping with its statutory obligations, the College is pleased to provide you with an opportunity to comment on proposed changes to its by-laws.

When the College is proposing to make changes to its by-laws that have a direct effect on its members, the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) requires the College to ask its members for their input.
In this consultation, the College is asking for members’ input on proposed changes to three parts of its by-laws.

The first set of changes are to Section 8.1. This section describes the information that must be on the College’s Public Register.

The second set of changes are to Section 8.2. This section describes the information that members must provide to the College.

The third set of changes are to Section 8.6. This section describes the fees that the College charges for its services.

Note: The College is required by law to ask you for your input on these proposed changes, even though some of the changes result from changes to the Regulated Health Professions Act that are already in effect. Requiring your input in these circumstances may seem unnecessary. The College is aware of this seeming contradiction, however it must also abide by its legal obligation to ask you for your input.

To provide your input on the proposed by-law changes, please complete a short survey that provides a brief explanation of each proposed change, the anticipated result of the proposed change, and an opportunity to provide your input.

Please provide your feedback by Monday, March 19, 2018.
