Council Highlights — December 15 and 16, 2021

Highlights from the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario’s Council Meeting on December 15 and 16, 2021

 

  • Council approved the work and resources required to establish a clinical exam based on elements of the Quality Assurance program.

  • Council directed staff to develop a plan that would enable the College to deliver credentialling and exam services if it was required to do so. 

  • Council agreed to continue its CAPR membership for the next year provided CAPR commits to providing ongoing evaluation services.

  • Council approved the Final Comprehensive Exam from the University of Sherbrooke as an approved clinical exam for registration in independent practice.

  • Council approved renewing the College’s data sharing agreement with the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI).
